What is your pricing?

The Melissa x Lynne boudoir experience begins at $500 and includes a pre-session preparation and design consultation, professional hair and makeup, a fully guided photoshoot with both Melissa and Raven, access to the exclusive studio wardrobe, magazine-style image editing and retouching, and a private virtual photo reveal & ordering appointment. We offer Collections, as well as A La Carte options so that you can fully customize your session with us. Our pricing begins at $1500 and goes up from there with a variety of available options to showcase your artwork.  

HOW MANY PHOTOS are in a melissa and lynne gallery? 

It really depends on the session. Galleries typically include anywhere between 50-100 photos for you to pick your favorites from for retouching. The exact amount varies from session to session as the amount of outfits, etc. play a huge role in how many images end up in your full gallery.

ALL THE WOMEN ON YOUR WEBSITE LOOK LIKE MODELS. I'M NOT A MODEL... CAN I STILL DO THIS??

We get asked this question all the time, but the truth is.. NONE of the women on our site are models! One of our superpowers is making women feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. We coach, guide, and encourage each and every one of our clients every step of the way! We're actually your biggest cheerleaders and by the time you leave you're going to feel like you can conquer anything!! 

How long will my session be?

This depends on the amount of outfits/studio setups we are doing as well as if other family members will be included in the session. Our typical time-frame though is 4-5 hours with approximately 2 hours in hair and makeup and 2-3 hours of shooting time.

On which days of the week can I have my photoshoot?

We strongly believe in quality over quantity and only accept a limited number of sessions per year in order to protect our creativity and ensure that each and every one of our clients receive the caliber of service that they deserve. That said, photoshoots are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Sessions always begin at 10:30am to allow for ample hair and makeup time and the best natural light our studio has to offer. If you would like another day during the week or a weekend date there will be an additional fee of $250.

Where is Your Studio located?

We have a gorgeous studio located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale, a few blocks from Las Olas Boulevard.

What are image turnaround times?

Our work is focused on creating exquisite art using the finest methods and quality products. With a passion for the details, we carefully curate and present each and every project we photograph. You will schedule a photo reveal approximately 2 weeks after your session to view and select your images. Turnaround times for fully edited galleries average 2 to 3 weeks during the regular season and 3 to 4 weeks during high season.

CAN I SAVE MONEY IF I DO MY OWN HAIR & MAKEUP?

This is a step you DON’T want to skip! Amazing hair and makeup goes miles for your transformation, and it will make you FEEL like a million bucks! It’s also a lot of fun to be pampered for a bit before your session, it gives you some time to unwind with us and get comfortable in the studio. Proper makeup application and hair styling also saves us oodles of time during retouching, because you will already look flawless.

Do you offer payment plan options?

Yes, we do offer payment plans and are happy to work with you on a breakdown that best fits your needs.

what is included in your wardrobe?

We offer a beautiful selection of gowns, bodysuits, fine Italian silk fabrics for draping, and more. Everything photographed on our website we have in our wardrobe plus-some. 

DO I HAVE TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED NUDE?

Absolutely not! Because our boudoir sessions are customized to the wants and needs of each client it is absolutely your choice/preference as to how much/little you want to be clothed and photographed! 

THIS IS MY FIRST STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE. WILL YOU GUIDE ME AND HELP ME POSE?

Yes! We absolutely do our best to be sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident! During your shoot we will guide you through every pose and focus on the angles that flatter YOU the most. You will never have to wonder what to do or where to place a finger!

CAN I HAVE SOMEONE WITH ME AT MY SESSION?

Yes and no. (lol) We know that with boudoir sessions comes a lot of nerves and we want you to feel as comfortable and confident as possible, so we allow you to bring one female friend with you! However, we do ask that your friend not interfere with your shoot like touching you up or directing you in poses. 

Also, it is a requirement for boudoir sessions, that you leave your boyfriend/husband/spouse at home. That’s a firm policy. 

WHEN AND HOW WILL I SELECT MY FAVORITE IMAGES FROM MY SHOOT?

Approximately 3-4 weeks after your photo session we will schedule your virtual, private photo reveal appointment. This will be the very first time that you get to see all of your gorgeous images and pick out your favorites for your album, folio box, keepsakes, or wall art! This is by far our most favorite part of the whole entire process!

Then, it takes about 2-4 weeks for all of your products (albums, folio boxes, wall art, etc) to be delivered and ready for you to take home!

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE?

This is where we've got you! Right after you book your experience we will send you the complete Welcome & Preparation guide! We feel the more informed our clients are, the better photoshoot experience you will have! We will cover everything from head to toe! 

SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT EXTRA WEIGHT (CHIN, ARMS, THIGHS) AND STRETCH MARKS?

No girl, we've got your back here!! Professional retouching is included in your session so you don’t have to worry about blemishes, stretch marks and certain body contours. Our attention to detail makes you look and feel as if you came straight out of a fashion magazine.

WHAT IF I AM SELF-CONSCIOUS?? (GIRL, EVERYONE IS LOL)

Let’s just face it, every human has something they are insecure about! (Including us, we’re all women here!! Lol) Whether it be a gain of a few pounds because well life happens, a little extra cellulite, or just your ever changing/fluctuating body! This is all natural and normal and we do get it!!

And although we completely understand and do our best to support women and their insecurities, we do not condone carping critical personalities (you know the ones that are completely unreasonable and that find fault with every turn, appreciate nothing, and just complain, complain, complain…). Even though we are here to support you and hold your hand, we do have a limit and will stop the process when we feel the situation will be exhausting and emotionally draining on us.

It is our goal to make a significant, positive impact in your life by sharing our gift with you, however when clients become this way and are beyond a reasonable level, the nuances halt our creative process. It is important for you to understand your level of insecurity before booking and if this is going to be something for you. 

We aren't the photographer for everyone and everyone is not for us, which is perfectly okay! 

I'M A SCHOOL TEACHER/I HAVE A HIGH PROFILE JOB/ I JUST DON'T WANT MY PICTURES ON THE INTERNET... IS THIS SECRET SAFE WITH YOU???

We take your privacy VERY seriously. Although all of the images that we shoot are tasteful enough to be placed anywhere we totally get it. We understand that you may not want your images shared with anyone and we 100% respect that! You can be certain that your images will never see the light of day without your express, written permission.

If you would like us to sign an NDA we are happy to do so! 

WILL YOU USE MY IMAGES ON YOUR WEBSITE/BLOG/PORTFOLIO?

What we show and use on our website/blog/portfolio is something we totally leave up to our clients! We personally would LOVE to show off your gorgeous images, but we understand and respect your right to keep them private. We will not share a single one of your images unless you grant us your express written permission to do so. If you are okay with some, but not all of your images, shown you are able to choose specifically which ones you are comfortable with.

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH MEN?

We only photograph men for portraiture, headshots, and maternity with their spouse. We absolutely do not photograph men with boudoir. This is a firm policy. (No offense guys)
